Professor Sam Ugwu Chijioke, born on April 12, 2023, hails from Ikem Isi Uzo LGA, Nigeria. He holds a B.A. in Education/Government from UNN (1982-1986), an MSc in Political Science from UNN (1989-1993), and a PhD in Political Science from ESuth (1998-2004). He has held various roles, including HOD of the Political Science Dept at ESuth (2005-2007), Chairman of Isi-Uzo LGA (2008-2012), and Dean of the Faculty of Social Science at ESUT (2013-2017). Currently, he serves as the Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment and Climate in Enugu State under Peter Mbah’s administration.
